That’s why the Wee-Pipe is your optimal beginner instrument as a bagpipe player or medieval friend. The Wee-Pipe was developed in Germany and Scotland with the aim of being simple, practical, cheap and quiet. And yet the Wee-Pipe is a complete and high-quality bagpipe.
With this worldwide unique development you even have two instruments in one. The wind capsule (blowpipe) and the shawm together form the practice chanter. With the Practice Chanter you can fully concentrate on playing technique and melody.
Now pull the Practice Chanter apart again and connect both parts to the leather bag. Voilá! You have a complete bagpipe with a drone for the low continuous tone and long playing.
