   The pipe arrived in perfect condition. I just played a few notes and have to say it sounds really great and is well-tuned. It’s also easy to control in terms of playing pressure—just right. Even the highest note, the high A—which can be a bit iffy on many playing pipes—hits the mark perfectly.

   I’ve had the bagpipes for a week now, and I’m liking them more and more.
   What I find remarkable is that you can hear very pleasant overtones in the lower register, similar to overtone singing—as if a high-pitched, soft flute were playing along… it’s downright meditative.

   Die Pfeife ist heil angekommen. Ich habe eben ein paar Stückchen gespielt und muss sagen sie klingt wirklich super und ist gut intoniert.. Auch vom Spieldruck her ist sie gut kontrollierbar – genau richtig. Selbst den höchsten Ton, das hohe A, dass ja bei vielen Spielpfeifen etwas wackelig ist, trifft man punktgenau.

   Ich habe die Sackpfeife jetzt seit einer Woche und sie gefällt mir immer besser.
   Was ich bemerkenswert finde ist dass man im unteren Tonbereich sehr angenehme Obertöne hört, ähnlich wie beim Obertongesang, also als wenn eine hohe weiche Flöte mitspielt… geradezu meditativ.

   Vielen Dank nochmal für die schnelle Lieferung und die nette Kommunikation am Telefon.

   Hi Jonas,

   So, the instrument finally arrived on Friday. I have to say, I’m thrilled. The craftsmanship is amazing—the sound, the construction—simply top-notch. You’ve obviously put a lot of heart and soul and ingenuity into this, and for that, I have the deepest respect. Just the markings on the reed, the valve, and the way the capsule works with the chanter—so you can use it as both a PC and a pipe chanter—hats off to you :o)

   The fingering—or rather, the “small” holes—takes some getting used to, of course, if you’re coming from the GHB, but with a little practice, the fingering chart clicks right away. I’ll keep you posted.

   In any case, thank you so much for the smooth process and the great pipe. Keep up the good work! I’ll definitely recommend you to others!

   Hi Jonas,

   so, am Freitag kam das gute Stück nun an. Ich muss sagen, ich bin begeistert. Die Verarbeitung ist der Hammer, der Klang, der Aufbau – einfach top. Du hast da offensichtlich viel Herzblut und Grips reingesteckt, dafür meinen tiefsten Respekt. Schon alleine die Markierung auf dem Reed, das Valve und die Sache mit der Capsule mit den Chanter, sodaß man ihn sowohl als PC, als auch als Pipechanter nutzen kann – Chapeau :o)

   Die Griffweise bzw. die “kleinen” Löcher sind natürlich gewöhnungsbedürftig, wenn man von der GHB kommt, doch die Grifftabelle sitzt nach ein wenig Übung bereits. Ich halte Dich auf dem Laufenden.

   Auf jeden Fall vielen Dank für den unkomplizierten Ablauf und die tolle Pipe. Mach weiter so ! Ich werde Dich auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

   Thank you for delivering my pipe so quickly. We’re really enjoying it.

   The challenge for me is switching from the Scottish to the German smallpipes… But the German smallpipe is so pleasant and really beautiful.

   I am a paraplegic, and because of my paralysis, I have trouble lifting the Scottish bagpipes with my hands while in my wheelchair and having trouble breathing. With the German bagpipes, it’s much easier for me…

   I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything working out so well. We’ll be reordering the Reeds—as a backup.

   Danke dass meine Pipe so schnell mitgeliefert wurde. Wir haben sehr viel Freude daran.

   Die Herausforderung für mich ist, von den Noten, der Schottischen auf die Deutschen zu wechseln… Aber die German Smallpipe ist so angenehm und richtig schön.

   Ich bin Paraplegikerin und durch meine Lähmung, habe ich, Probleme mit Handhebung der Schottischen Pipe im Rollstuhl und der Puste. Mit der German Pipe, ist es für mich viel einfacher…

   Ich wollte mich auf diesem Wege auch bedanken, dass alles so toll funktioniert hat. Die Reeds, für Reserve, werden wir noch nachbestellen.

   A dream come true for beginners and advanced players alike!
   This wonderful instrument arrived today, and I’m absolutely thrilled with it.

   Every note is spot-on, the playing pressure is just right (for beginners and advanced players alike), and as an alternative, you can simply attach the included wind capsule to the playing pipe to practice the melody.

   I can recommend the smallpipe to anyone who wants to avoid deafening practice sessions with the “Marktsack” (;-) or who wants to get completely new to the bagpipes.

   I’d also like to thank Jonas for the great communication and the fantastic handling of the shipment!

   Ein Traum für jeden Einsteiger als auch Fortgeschritten!
   Dieses wundervolle Exemplar kam heute ins Haus geflattert und nun bin ich sehr glücklich darüber.

   Jeder Ton wird haargenau getroffen, der Spieldruck eignet sich hervorragend (für Einsteiger/Fortgeschrittene)und alternativ setzt man zum üben der Melodie einfach die mitgelieferte Windkapsel auf die Spielpfeife.

   Ich kann die Smallpipe jedem empfehlen, der ohrenbetäubende Übungsstunden mit dem Marktsack umgehen mag (;-) oder sich komplett neu mit der Sackpfeife befassen will.

   Zudem bedanke ich mich bei Jonas, für den tollen Kontakt und die super Abwicklung des Versandes!
