Musicians learning bagpipes need, first and foremost, instruments that are easy to use. This is one of the basic requirements to focus on the essentials – practicing the technique. The Wee-Pipe is in the category of Practice Chanter and Co, but it is not a pure practice flute. The blow tube is plugged onto the chanter, and you get the Practice Chanter. Both parts back connected to the air bag, you get a complete bagpipe with drone. Learning to play the bagpipes is a breeze due to the high functionality.
Scottish bagpipe with practical learning equipment
The Wee-Pipe is equipped with all the features that make up a full-fledged bagpipe, which includes the Brummer (drone / drone). It provides the characteristic, deep continuous tone. You play the instrument with your elbow, just like the Scottish original. The bagpipe with syntetic airbag by CANMORE has wind capsule (blowpipe) and chanter. Both parts can be plugged together and used as a practice chanter if required. Most components are made of durable plastic, so a damp cloth is all you need to clean dust off your Wee-Pipe. Unlike the Great Highland Bagpipe, there is no need for regular greasing or sealing of the air bag.

In the chanter sits a reed from Ezee and also the drone is equipped with a very high quality dronereed of the well-known brand EzeeDrone. The Canmore bellows has an attractive corduroy look and is made of a synthetic textile that allows moisture to pass through, but is airtight. The pipes and other components were turned from POM, a material that the Scots appreciate for their instruments. And last but not least, the valve is made of solid, easy-to-clean plastic.
